I got invited by a friend to attended a function organized by a XXX company.  I did not know what it was before attending it, but soon found out it is just a another direct sales.  I was a bit angry with my friend for not telling me in advance it is a direct sales.

I do not like direct sales and thought that the most important thing for them is to sell membership and their way overpriced products.  I always think if any of your friend invites you to join direct sales, they do not appreciate the friendship.   I always tell anyone who wants to sell me direct sales membership that I do not buy stuff from direct sales.  This is the only way for me to protect the friendship is to say NO to everyone everytime.
