It is because my mother in law and me do not get along very well. She always thinks I am not as good as her or good enough for her son.
The visit turns out to be ok, she did not bring up the house matter to me

it seems that you always feel so hard when you thinking to go over to your inlaw's house…
try to enjoy with their life style over there, maybe you will find sth different
